I am a ridiculous person. I drink ridiculous amounts of coffee, sing (quid badly) a ridiculous amount (because it's SO MUCH FUN), say ridiculous things, and come up with ridiculously bad parodies of popular songs. (But it's super fun to be like that sometimes, so if you're ridiculous too-embrace it!)
Well, one popular song, Let It Go, that iconic song from Frozen.
This post is stemming from the fact that I was coming up with a parody of that song tonight, I think about my hot cocoa, when I was reminded of one of the many other times that I changed the song. This particular time one of my roommates probably remembers because I came up with it after I cut myself (kinda badly) doing something she told me that I shouldn't because I would hurt myself, and then bandaged me up afterward. (#smartestroommateaward goes to me). Anyway, the cut wouldn't stop bleeding, so I tried singing it a song to make it stop. It went a little something like this:

'Let it clot,
Let it clot!
Don't let the blood flow anymore.
Let it clot,
Let it clot!
Turn your back and slam the door! (To my roommate, 'cause the cut looked gross. There was a skin flap. TMI, I know).'

I don't quite remember the rest, if there was anymore (which I'm guessing there was, this happened a while ago), but I think to this day that is the most ridiculous parody that I made. Plus, the reason and the memory behind it are kind of funny. Anyway, just thought I'd share that. I suggest making your own bad parodies of the song if you haven't already. Too-da-loo dearies!

WHAM BAM, HOT DAMN WHO THE HELL ARE WE? WE'RE THE LOVELY SISTERS OF DPHIE! Wow my past week has been crazy. I Should Be A Model

This last Thursday I got back from from visiting my brother, sister-in-law, and my niece (she's six months old and absolutely adorable) with my mom. We did a lot of super cool stuff over the course of three days there and two days spent traveling there. Besides this we also visited the Midtown Global Market, had Nepalese food, and my brother and I went on a ten-mile-abouts bike ride. It was super great to be able to go out and visit them. They live in another state, so we don't get to see them a lot, and this is also only the second time that I've gotten to see my niece, so going out to see them was a nice chance to visit. My ma and I also made a sight-seeing trip out of the ride to them (It's almost 11 hours, so breaks are nice) and split it up into two days. We got to see this abandoned town in the UP, Fayette, which is super cool and I recommend visiting it if you ever get the chance. Roots and Leaves

In the new member ed classes we do in my sorority we do this activity called roots and leaves, where we draw a tree (it doesn't have to be anything special) and the leaves represent qualities about yourself that are obvious or easily visible; whereas the roots are things about you that not everyone knows. Now, the one that I did with the sorority, I didn't put everything down that I really thought belonged on there, so I made my own.
