Fall is Here, Hear the Bell, Back to School, Ring the Bell

So I'm just going to dust off the keyboard and get started writing here again, 'cause boy oh boy has it been a while. There are actually a few reasons for that, but I don't feel like covering them right now (because this is my blog and I can write what I want) (and it's also probs going to come up at some point in the next few months). 

So, I'm not going back to LTU this semester. A few people already know this, and it's been official for a little while, but it still sucks every time I think about it. However, I am still taking online classes through a local community college (and that means that I don't have to pay back student loans yet-yay!!). Not that many, only nine credits/three classes, but I think that's plenty considering everything else I'm doing for the next couple months. 

Since I'm not going to school, I decided to work at camp for the fall! Yay fall camp! Fall is pretty different compared to summer in just about everything (aka I'm teaching classes about things I just learned about and I'm going from a staff of 80 to a staff of less than ten and the kids are only here for a few days to a week at most), so that might take a little bit of adjusting; but overall I'm super excited to do everything!! Not gonna lie though, I'm a little worried about balancing between school and work. I mean, I basically work full-time (8:00am-10:00pm every day!) and sometimes we even have to chaperone the kids at night, so no time off there, and I'm just worried about finding time. But I'm sure I can work it out with my instructors if anything goes wrong. It's just stressful right now because I applied and registered for classes just about the day before they started, and I just ordered books now, but I'm going to be gone for the next three days to our camp on Arbutus lake, so it's just AGGHHHHHH

Let me restart, I need my books ASAP, so I could get them sent to Arbutus, but if they get there after we leave then I'm SOL, so I just have to send them here, so I'm not going to be able to get them soon which sucks. 

But yeah. That may be my life right now? Maybe? I'm leaving out a few million things at the moment, but those are the headlines for today. This is a bit of a rough start (to school and camp and blogging again), but fingers crossed it's going to get better.

WHAM BAM, HOT DAMN WHO THE HELL ARE WE? WE'RE THE LOVELY SISTERS OF DPHIE! Wow my past week has been crazy. I Should Be A Model

This last Thursday I got back from from visiting my brother, sister-in-law, and my niece (she's six months old and absolutely adorable) with my mom. We did a lot of super cool stuff over the course of three days there and two days spent traveling there. Besides this we also visited the Midtown Global Market, had Nepalese food, and my brother and I went on a ten-mile-abouts bike ride. It was super great to be able to go out and visit them. They live in another state, so we don't get to see them a lot, and this is also only the second time that I've gotten to see my niece, so going out to see them was a nice chance to visit. My ma and I also made a sight-seeing trip out of the ride to them (It's almost 11 hours, so breaks are nice) and split it up into two days. We got to see this abandoned town in the UP, Fayette, which is super cool and I recommend visiting it if you ever get the chance. Roots and Leaves

In the new member ed classes we do in my sorority we do this activity called roots and leaves, where we draw a tree (it doesn't have to be anything special) and the leaves represent qualities about yourself that are obvious or easily visible; whereas the roots are things about you that not everyone knows. Now, the one that I did with the sorority, I didn't put everything down that I really thought belonged on there, so I made my own.
