Secret Three

Hey chicklins,
So, I've recently been watching Supernatural (I'm only on episode 14 of season 1, not very far yet). In episode 14 one of the actors says something about how everyone was sending casseroles. It reminded me of what happened when my dad died. I think my family got, like, eight lasagnas. And it was only lasagnas, nothing else. I wasn't able to eat it again for another couple years. My mom told me when my Uncle Tommy died that they got a bunch of lunch meat. I don't remember what we got when my grandma died but I can only assume that it was the same way.
I wonder why people always send the same food? And it is always the same, like everyone giving you food has some sort of psychic connection to all send the same food. I don't know why it happens, but it always does.
Just a thought.

WHAM BAM, HOT DAMN WHO THE HELL ARE WE? WE'RE THE LOVELY SISTERS OF DPHIE! Wow my past week has been crazy. I really should be writing my essay right now, but I can't actually be entirely bothered about it (the subject is just horrible and it's pretty terrible to write, but I'm still going to get it done tonight, it's pretty much due. I Should Be A Model

This last Thursday I got back from from visiting my brother, sister-in-law, and my niece (she's six months old and absolutely adorable) with my mom. We did a lot of super cool stuff over the course of three days there and two days spent traveling there. Besides this we also visited the Midtown Global Market, had Nepalese food, and my brother and I went on a ten-mile-abouts bike ride. It was super great to be able to go out and visit them. They live in another state, so we don't get to see them a lot, and this is also only the second time that I've gotten to see my niece, so going out to see them was a nice chance to visit. My ma and I also made a sight-seeing trip out of the ride to them (It's almost 11 hours, so breaks are nice) and split it up into two days. We got to see this abandoned town in the UP, Fayette, which is super cool and I recommend visiting it if you ever get the chance. Roots and Leaves

In the new member ed classes we do in my sorority we do this activity called roots and leaves, where we draw a tree (it doesn't have to be anything special) and the leaves represent qualities about yourself that are obvious or easily visible; whereas the roots are things about you that not everyone knows. Now, the one that I did with the sorority, I didn't put everything down that I really thought belonged on there, so I made my own.
