It's Getting Ridiculous
Hola ervrybody!
So, I'm not one to normally complain about things like the roads and what cities do and don't do, but I feel like this is one exception that I'm going to have to take.
Today I was driving to the library to take some pictures so that I could have things to draw for my sketchbook, so I obviously had to drive around. However, on the way there, I think that my car practically died. I was driving on the good part of the road for a while. Then I got in the lane to turn into the library, and it was no longer road. It was potholes, and only potholes.
I started to slow down a bit and felt bad for everyone behind me, so I looked in my mirror. Not only was everyone else driving as slow as me , but they were all way behind me, and driving just like I was (a.k.a. kind of erratically, trying to aviod the potholes by driving around them). The snow has also been melting a ton lately, so every one of the potholes were basically their own little lake just chillin' out in the road, no big deal.
My car was already making funny noises today (when braking and occasionally turning, my car was making a funny kind of squeaky-ish noise and I have no idea why), so I was completely expecting it to just give up and die. It didn't, and I made it back fine, but my thought as I was going there was just 'This is ridiculous. No one should drive on these roads'.
So yeah. That was my adventure today. It was quite the adventure. Hope your days are just as adventurous (but maybe in more fun ways) as mine!
