Sisterhood
How's it chillin' homeskillet?
As I've said before, I'm apart of a sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon. I never thought that I'd be a girl that joins a sorority, I'm just not typical sorority material. The Deephers here are great though, and I've never regretted joining since.
Sisterhood is great, because it's something that you can't really get away from, it's automatically having a group of girl friends on campus automatically, no matter how well or how badly you know a girl in the sorority.
You also get a Big Sister, which is basically a built-in best friend in my opinion. They're someone that you can automatically be close with and open up to, no questions asked. They're always there for you, no matter what happens.
It's permanent too, unless you un-join or something. You are always a Deepher, and will be forever. It's not like an organization that you join for a semester, or for a couple of years, it's something that is always there.
Being able to walk around campus and seeing at least one person that you know basically everywhere you go is a great thing, and it makes my day to whenever that happens.
I love being a part of this great group of girls.
