Those Meddling Kids

Hey everyone! Here's what's been up with me:

Yesterday was actually pretty great! I cut out of work halfway through the day (we didn't have a lot of kids, the other instructors dealt with it fine on their own) and went and skiied with one of my friends who works at another resort, C. He works the race crew over at Treetops, so I went over and helped out some with the tear-down and other little things along the way. It was pretty great, and I even go to do a couple of the races! I haven't been able to ski like that in a while, free skiing with my friends. 'Cause skiing with friends is always is much more fun, ya' know? Plus, we were both on the ski team in high school, so it's nice to catch up. I've found that I apparently get along better with the guys on the team than the girls (less drama maybe?), either way, it made for a really nice day.

Another fun adventure that we've (the roommates/friends and I) had in the past two nights is that we've gone and messed up our RA's room. In doing that, the furniture gets turned upside down and moved around, and today all of the cupboard doors got left open, and big black spiders get drawn on the white board. It makes for quite the adventure. In our defense though, he gave the idea for turning things upside down, because one day he told a story about how his room did it to their RA last year, or something like that.

Lately I've been watching Scooby-Doo related things and they're all so super-duper great. I loved the show and movies when I was younger, and seeing them now brings it all back. I never liked the movies with real people, but recently they came out with two movies set when the gang was in high school, and for some reason I'm lovin' those. Also, I started to watch the re-launched version of the show, and it's not too bad. Freddie is a little out of character, very trap-oriented. I feel like in the original he was more suave and socially-knowledgeable, things he is most definitely not in the re-launch. There's also quite a bit of drama over the fact that Shaggy and Velma are now a couple, which isn't horrible, but I feel like the reactions of the characters are not true to their original characters, which actually does kind of upset me.

Well, that's all for now. Bye folks!
